Live blog radio show appearance is Tuesday Night, 8/26/08, 9 pm EST Entitled :Got Traffic? The Divinity of the Daily Commute. Tune in and tell your friends. Among different topics Dr. Stewart Bitkoff will be discussing: every day spirituality, commuting, my book: 'A Commuter's Guide to Enlightenment,' and experiences along the Sufi Path. I hope you enjoy the show; if you miss it, it will be available one hour after being aired on the site.
Guided Meditation is on Sundays at 6PM. Cost is $15 and although the store is closed, there will be someone there at 5:45Pm to let you in for this class. You can sign up so that we know you are coming or walk in( just be on time because the doors lock during class).
SPIRIT STUDY GROUP starts back up on Wednesday August 20th at 6:30 pm. We have missed our wonderful discussion groups!!! Donation $8.00
The Minor Arcana Tarot Class will be starting up again on Wednesday, August 20th at 6:30 PM. This consists of 4 weeks studying the divination of Tarot. Cost is $100 with a discount if you have taken the previous Tarot class. Time and Dates are flexible.
It's time to sign up for Qabala class with Skip. We will be starting this class up on Wednesday, August 20th at 4:30 PM. This is an ongoing series of 6 weeks sessions. It is well worth it for anyone who is searching for the answers to life's queries. Qabala encompasses all belief systems and approaches the journey back to the Divine. Cost is $25 per class.
We will be hosting Tarot Circle on Friday, August 29th at 7PM. All are welcome. please join us for a wonderful time.September 6th is the Tarot Picnic. This event is held every year and is a day of fun and feasting. Free Tarot readings are available all day and there will be several presenters including our own Skip Weatherford. Bring a potluck meal. Location is "The Roof" at Paradise Valley in Mt Pocono. We have details at the store. All are welcome
"No Human Zone" :Next month on Thursday, September 11th at 7PM we will be starting a teen group for those people who are between the ages of 17 and 25. This group will be a place where you can discuss some of the issues particularly important to your age, that time when you are transitioning between being a child under your parentsd, to becoming an adult who thinks for him/herself. We will have complete confidentiality and every possible topic will be up for discussion. This group is free, but I do ask that you donate your time in some capacity, I have plenty of work for you to do...
Wicca 201, Tools & Ritual,the second class in the magic series on Saturday, September 13th at 12 noon. Cost is $40
We are going to be attending Fall Frolic for Mabon. This is a wonderful weekend festival held in Bushkill Pa ( less than 50 minutes from our store). We have the sign up sheets for anyone who is interested in attending and you can learn more about this event by going to the website www.thefallfrolic.com This festival is being held from Friday, September 19-Sunday September 21st. The campground is clean and everyone gets a bed in a cabin. It was wonderful last year, and I know it will be great again this year. Come join us. Anyone who wishes to car pool can contact us at the store and we will help you find rides.
